Pilot Air Ezi-Start Valve For Electric Air Compressors

Pilot Air Ezi-Start Valves are fitted between the check valve and the nylon tube that sends air to the pressure switch. 

The Ezi-Start valve allows air from the pump to by-pass for a few seconds giving the motor time to reach full rpm before it closes. 

If a motor can not reach full speed because the air resistance of the pump is too high it can cause the overload on the motor to trip or the circuit breaker from the power supply to trip. This is made much worse when you add a long extension power cord between the source and the air compressor.  

Always read the manufacturers instructions before fitting and be sure to relieve Air from the tank and turn the air compressor off.
