The Graco Hydraulic Motors used on the GH and HS series pumps are very durable but after a number of years the seals in the hydraulic motor will wear and need to be replaced. 

Symptoms of worn seals would be if the pump intermittently cycles up and down without load or no cycling of the pump under load. If you are unsure, remove the fluid pump from the motor and test. Make sure the oil in the hydraulic pump is at the correct level and the hydraulic ball valve on the side of the hydraulic motor is open.
