Pilot Air Safety Valves are designed to relieve air from the air receiver if the pressure builds above 160psi. In the case of a pressure switch fault the safety valve will blow off air to prevent damage to the motor.
INCL. GST
Air compressor receivers (air tanks) must be fitted with safety valves which are designed to blow off once the air pressure in the air receiver exceeds 160psi.
Be sure to check periodically if your safety valve is working by pulling the ring at the top of the stem when the air compressor is full of air. If your safety valve is leaking you should replace it.
Always read the manufacturers instructions before fitting and be sure to relieve air from the tank and turn the air compressor off.
