Atomex 20 Litre Paint Pressure Pots Tank with Manual Agitator and Bottom Outlet

Atomex pressure pots are designed for industrial paint applications where larger volumes of paint are required. These are available in a range of sizes from 2 Litre, 4 Litre, 10 Litre, 20 Litre, 40 Litre and 80 Litres capacity.

Atomex pressure pots come in the following variations –

Top Fluid Outlet

This models has a pick up tube inside the tank where fluid is forced under pressure to the fluid outlet on the lid. The fluid outlet size is 3/8” BSP Male in which your material or paint hose is connected. These are the most common models sold and widely used for enamels, hammer tone and 2K products.

Bottom Fluid Outlet

This model has the fluid outlet located at the bottom of the tank, this is used for much heavier materials where the product may struggle to get to the lid. Bottom outlet pressure post are also fantastic for fluid transfer vessels as the outlet size at the bottom of the tank is 3/4".

Top & Bottom Fluid Outlet models can be purchased in three configurations:

Non Agitator

This has no internal mixer.

Manual Agitator

This has a manual agitator handle at the top of the pot that enables mixing of the paint product to be done periodically while under pressure.

Automatic Agitator

This includes an inbuilt air driven agitator that can be adjusted to the desired speed to keep your paint product mixed while under pressure. Automatic agitators are very useful when spraying larger volumes of paint that can settle over time. Using the agitator at a slow speed keeps the product in constant suspension avoiding solids in the paint settling to the bottom of the tank.

Pressure pots will require a twin air/fluid hose to connect the air and fluid from your pot to the spray gun. Air/Fluid Twin hoses are sold in 2.5m, 5.0m, 7.5m, 10.0m, 12.5m and 15m. Twin hose is fitted with two fittings at each end, 1/4" BSP for the air and 3/8” BSP for the fluid.

When selecting a gun to be used on a pressure pot it is recommended that you buy a pressure feed spray gun that is designed to be run off a pressure pot or double diaphragm pump. Pressure feed guns are designed to hold higher fluid pressure at the nozzle.
